TGA CITY AMATEUR  (also known as Tacoma City Amateur)

The TGA City Amateur's age is 79 consecutive years and is among the longest enduring amateur association championships nationally.   The TGA City Amateur serves as the amateur championship for Southern Puget Sound.  All eligible amateur competitors are welcome to play two rounds at two of the areas more competitive courses in an attempt to qualify for the final round .  The final round is held at an area course of prominence.  The champion becomes a part of a storied history, and receives regional recognition as well as Hudson Cup points.

Format: 54 hole, Stroke (Medal) play format, not handicapped (gross scores).  Entrants must be a minimum of 16 years old.
